Join Us For OCERA Lobby Day: Tuesday, September 24th @ 8AM - 4PM

What Lobby Day Is About

Our goal is to bring as many people as possible to Salem on 9/24. Come lobby your legislators with us and share the reasons you care about protecting everyone’s environmental rights. If you cannot attend in person, we will make an effort to allow zoom participation.

We will provide an orientation at 8:30 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 770 Chemeketa St. (come at 8am for snacks) before meetings with legislators. We will all attend a briefing covering the purpose of the amendment in Senator Golden’s committee from 10:30 to 11 AM. Wear GREEN. Then we will meet with legislators and their staff in teams.

• Gather at 8 AM for snacks

• Senate Natural Resources Committee hearing 10:30 to 11 AM

• Legislative team meetings through the rest of the day
