Talking Points & Handouts (universal)
-
This information is designed to reach across divides and resonate with our fellow Oregonians with the same basic needs shared by all humans -- protecting our families and communities from overusing / degrading the environmental life support systems we all depend on. We are not interested in blame-games, but we are focused on and united in the effective, sea-changing solution that is a constitutional, fundamental, and enforceable right to a healthy environment.
-
References for why Oregon's water / environment is actually NOT so great and why we're #44 in the nation for the natural environment, #46 for pollution, and #50 for pollution health risks. That's not great!

Ideas to Help Raise Support (coming soon!)
-
Although raising awareness is definitely a type of support, here, we're talking about tangible support -- funding and in-kind donations (of stuff like printing handouts / signage or services like staff time / advice). Here's what YOU can do to help:
-
Start talking up the cause with people, nonprofits, and businesses that could provide this type of support. If anyone would like to know more (beyond what you can provide), please connect them with us at team@oceraunited.org.
-
When such folks hear about an effective solution carried by a viable movement, tangible support is usually automatic. However, if you believe someone may benefit from receiving "the pitch," again, please let us know!
-
If you're interested in serving on a Fundraising Team, being trained up and ready to make calls off a list of potential donors, that would also be directly supportive of this effort! (Note, lots of nonprofits would love to have folks on their team with fundraising experience!) Just email team@oceraunited.org!
