Get Involved With OCERA
Want to get involved with OCERA and help amend the Oregon Constitution with a fundamental right to a healthy environment? Here are four ways that you can get involved, depending on how much you'd like to help shape and support this cause!
How You Can Be Involved
Sign Up For Our Newsletter
Signing up for our monthly newsletter is the best way to stay up to date with all the news, events, and opportunities surrounding this cause. Once a month, you'll receive short summaries of related news events, OCERA's progress, upcoming events, and different ways you can directly and meaningfully support the mission.
Join As An Individual Member
-
You'll be invited to attend our monthly OCERA meetings (third Tuesday of each month, 12pm Pacific).
-
You'll receive strategic insight in plans and operations, and be asked for your input on such matters.
-
You'll have the opportunity to grow knowledge, skills, and abilities useful for your other endeavors. (Think community service hours and bullets on your resume!)
-
You'll have access to talking points, media kits, and other informational resources. And, if you actively support an effort (such as petitioning operations, communications, or fundraising), you'll have access to members-only databases.
Join As An Organizational Member
Whether you're a 501(c)(3), an informal group, or a business, you can make a meaningful difference as an organizational member of OCERA in various ways. For example, you can:
-
Educate your own by requesting an educational presentation / meeting for your board or your membership at a future meeting.
-
Endorse the effort with your logo / a statement of support.
-
Share coalition updates with your members, followers, or customers as you feel are important to relay.
-
Lead by organizing events in your community or networks, helping to raise awareness / support for the cause.
